Healthy + Vegetarian Fourth of July Recipes

It’s almost the Fourth of July! BBQs and grills await us all, especially for those who are going to multiple parties or have started to celebrate early. However, it can be hard for those of us who aren’t really into potato salad, coleslaw, or fatty foods in general. Even worse, for us vegetarians. Sorry, but hamburgers and hot dogs aren’t really up my alley.

To solve these issues, how about you jump in and help lighten up the food table? Make a fresh salad, create something healthy, and bring it to your potluck. There’s ought to be someone else there who’s begging for some fresh veggies to eat.

Some recipes to bring some ideas to your mind:

1. Edamame Hummus


Instead of serving veggies with ranch, blend up some edamame hummus. It’s so original!
